In January 2013, Baroness Cox and Dr Mukesh Kapila travelled hundreds of kilometres through Sudan\'s Nuba Mountains and Blue Nile.
The two areas have been closed since armed conflict erupted between the Sudanese Government and opposition groups in June 2011. International humanitarian relief access has been blocked.
